What clubs and marinas usually ask before trying it.
Do we need to install anything?
No. It opens in the browser your team already has: Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android. On iPhone it has to be a Safari tab rather than a home-screen app, since Apple only allows the speech recognition it runs on inside Safari itself. A shortcut on the home screen still gets you there in one tap.
Who can see our log?
Only people you've added, each with their own PIN. Staff record and search; managers run their own department; a club admin sees across every department. Departments keep their own logs, so one team doesn't see another's unless an entry is shared to them on purpose.
What if someone deletes something by mistake?
Nothing is ever truly gone. A deleted entry is hidden, not destroyed, and a manager or admin can bring it back from the admin screen.
Do we need a strong wifi signal?
Yes, for now. Recording and saving an entry needs a normal connection, which is what most docks, ramps and clubhouses already have. Working fully offline is planned for a later version, not something V1 does yet.
Is this just for marinas?
It started on a dock, but the shape of the problem (one shift handing the next one what it needs to know) is the same at an FBO, a club, or a facilities team, so it works the same way there.
